Hey all! First things first, let’s announce the winner of the North Pole Album Made Easy from We R Memory Keepers.
Congrats Shari!!! You should have received an email from me so please be sure to respond quickly. If I don’t hear from you by Monday I’ll pick a new winner.
And now onto our regularly scheduled programming
It’s that time of month again where I share a few of my favorite posts from around the blogosphere (that I found via pinterest) with you. Today I decided to go with Holiday themed posts. So here they are. A few of my favorites.

Well, winter finally rolled into our part of the woods over the next few days. It is most definitely not the winter that I experienced growing up. No endless hours of softly falling snow accumulating in giant fluffy snow banks. Here it’s not all that impressive. But I do have to say, at least we got something to reward us for the cold. My least favorite thing is when it’s frigid outside, but there’s not snow around. So in honor of our 1-3 inches here is a cute simple, out and about outfit for running errands in the winter. And bonus: nothing is over $50!!
You may have noticed from my last few fashion Fridays that I’m a fan of simple outfits. A t-shirt and jeans, sandals and maybe a necklace or bracelet and earrings. So here’s one that I would love to have in my closet. I love that the stripes are wiggly. They kind of look like a bunch of circles right next to each other.
How is it July already!? If you’re like me it kind of sneaked up on you, but you still want to do some sort of project. Well, I found 3 quick ones that you can do in no time flat.
1 // American Flag Picnic Blanket : The House That Lars Built
2 // Summer Clothespin Pinwheels : Martha Stewart
3 // Confetti Popper : Lifestyle Crafts
Are you guys ready for Fathers Day yet? I’ve got my husband covered, but I just realized (seriously, as I typed in the post title it hit me) I have totally neglected my own dad and father-in-law! I better get right on that! While I get that all together and continue working on the little Missy Dear makeover I thought I would leave you with four quick, easy and lovely fathers day gifts I found via Pinterest.
Please forgive the schedule switch up. I have a different post planned for Friday
This morning was a very rainy morning. However, I failed to realize that before I ran outside, late to take my daughter to preschool. So instead of wearing this perfect for a rainy day ensemble I was wearing a holey tee shirt, yoga pants and flip flops.
This would have been so much better.
