I hope you all had a great and safe night last night! I can’t wait to see what the new year brings!
PS – Isn’t this calender amazing? via Julianna Swaney
Hey hey! Did you guys all miss me? I have a really good excuse for being so MIA the last 2 months (!!!) but I’m not allowed to tell you all why yet. How’s that for mysterious?
I have still been active on Instagram for all that time so if you want to go catch up on a little of what I was doing you can go check me out there. Because, I mean, who wouldn’t want to keep up with every moment of my life? (joke. that was a joke)
But I wanted to pop in and let you know that I will be back at it now. Hopefully with at least 3 posts a week. I’ve got a bunch of fun ideas I want to try out and some fun stuff to share with you.
And since a post is never complete without a picture (am i right?), how’s this for some fun stuff?
I’m so excited to get going on some fun projects! Thanks so much to LifesStyle Crafts and We R Memory Keepers for the great goodies! BTW – you guys should totally go check out their FB page, they’ve got tons of great ideas and hold some awesome giveaways over there.

Well, we made it to good ole Missouri! We’ve been here for about 4 weeks now and we love it! Such a change from Massachusetts I had thought that by now I’d be back in the blogging game, but we’ve had family visiting and then school starting so my time has been a little preoccupied. I’m thinking I’ll be back and going strong next week. I’ve also been experimenting with my layout. Sorry about the mess! And thanks for being patient with me!
I mentioned yesterday that we’re moving in a bit. And also as I mentioned, my house is currently filled with moving boxes. We aren’t actually moving for a few weeks, but this move may just be a temporary one while we look for a house. So, I’m going through everything very carefully to de-junk and make sure every single box is labeled well. I also need to make sure everything I’ll need for the next few months is with me and the things I don’t make it to storage.
I was going to type up a list of all the tips that I have gathered from my experience though my last 8 moves, but I found (via Pinterest, of course) a great post that had all the tips I had, plus fabulous pictures.
So what are your favorite moving tips?
I have sold So You Think You’re Crafty. It’s so weird. Something that I have been thinking about daily for almost 4 years is something I don’t have to worry about any more. It’s very bitter sweet for me.
In the past 15 seasons I was able to meet and get to know over 150 amazing crafters with amazing talent. I’ll definitely miss the daily interaction I had with them, but I sure am glad they’re all bloggers so I can follow and keep up with them.
Today is my last day posting over there. Tauni, the new owner, will be taking great care of it and I’m so glad. Lately I’ve often wondered how I’ll ever be able to fill the time I worked on/thought about SYTYC but then I look over and Abi and I’m reminded
I’m also excited to be able to spend more time over here and on my shop. I have some BIG plans for the future and can’t wait to get started on them.
In fact, the first plan is about to get under way over the weekend and into next week. The beginning of that plan dropped into my inbox last night.
That’s right, a new logo! I’ve been working with the amazing Melissa Esplin on a little re-branding. She is one of the most talented calligraphers I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t be happier with the new look and I’m excited to get the make over underway.
So stick around to see the new look and the fun posts I have planned!
